Sub : -Restoration of the LARSGESS-Observance Black Day on 4th October, 2018 & All India Running Staff Protest Day on 12.10.2018 all over the Indian Railways.

It has been communicated by General Secretary, All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF) vide his Letter NO. AIRF/24 ( c) DT.27/9/2018 that TO OBSERVE BLACK DAY on 4/10/2018 by wearing Black Badges, holding of Rallies, Mass Meetings, Demonstrations etc. at grass root levels, involving maximum number of Safety Categories of staff to lodge serious protest against the arbitrary instructions of the Railway Board issued vide RBE No. 150/2018, referred to above.
In addition to above, pursuant to unanimous decision taken in the Meeting of Working Committee held in New Delhi on 22/23-9-2018 an ALL INDIA RUNNING STAFF PROTEST DAY, shall be organized in New Delhi 12/10/2018 and to ensure maximum number of participation of Loco & Traffic Running Staff from your Divisions in the said protest to be held on 12/10/2018, in respect of inordinate delay in revision of rates of Running Allowance and other allowance related to Running staff and non resolving of other major grievances of this vulnerable category of staff , which include Addl.Allowance to ALP, Duty Hours, and periodical rest of running staff, Rest at the HQ and Outstations , unhygienic condition of the running rooms, non availability of separate accommodation & Wash room, etc., for Women ALPs and Loco Pilots and Guards, improvement in the working Conditions and emoluments etc.
All of you are requested to ensure compliance of the decision taken by AIRF, as mentioned above and detailed Report of the same be sent to this office for compilation and onward communication to AIRF Office for better appreciation.
