Sub: Brief of meeting held today with the Member (Finance), Railway Board

A meeting was held today with the Member (Finance), Railway Board, and a very cordial discussion was held on the undernoted important issues:-

On the issue of conducting of Appendix-III (IREM) Examination, she informed that the matter is under process and very soon date of the examination would be announced.

On the issue of payment of T.A. and O.T. Allowance, she said that, although there are some problems, due to budgetary constraints, however, she is trying that, all the pending payments should be cleared by the end of December 2026.

On the issue of Cadre Restructuring of Group ‘C’ Categories of the Railwaymen, she gave necessary directions to the concerned to ensure early implementation of the unanimous recommendations of the Cadre Restructuring Committee (2023).
