Dear Sirs,
Please refer to Minutes of the meeting of the Federations with Board held on 07.02.2014 which were circulated vide letter under reference.
Further progress on the issues are as mentioned below:
1. New Pension Scheme: Hon’ble MR has written to Hon’ble Finance Minister on 29.03.2014.
2. LARGESS
(a) Inclusion of additional categories as demanded by the Federations: Necessary instructions issued vide Board’s letter No. E(P&A)I-2010/RT-2 dated 24.03.2014, copy enclosed (Annexure-I).
(b) Quarter retention by wards of railway employees appointed under LARSGESS: Necessary instructions issued vide Board’s letter No. E(G)2012 QR-1-12 dated 21.02.2014, copy enclosed (Annexure-II).
(c) Stipulation of 20 years service in the safety post for LARSGESS entitlement to be reviewed: Information in respect of the number of employees having less than 20 years of qualifying service in specified safety category posts has been called for from Railways vide letter No. E(P&A)I-2013/FE2/3 dated 26.02.2014, copy enclosed (Annexure-III).
3. Career Progression of Trackmen-Percentage distribution of posts of Track Maintainers: Necessary instructions issued vide Board’s letter No. 2012/CE-I/GNS/20 dated 01.04.2014, copy enclosed (Annexure-IV).
4. Cadre Restructuring-Implementation difficulty: While no Railway has advised any difficulty for implementation of cadre restructuring on their
Railway, status of implementation of cadre restructuring has been called for from all the Railways/PUs & eTIs vide Board’s letter dated 24.02.2014.
After getting reply from all the Railways/Units, if necessary, a meeting of CPOs and FA&CAOs may be organized in Board’s office.
Other issues appearing in the Minutes are also receiving due attention for which separate communication will follow.
