The proposal to give Productivity Linked bonus to railwaymen is likely to come up today at the Cabinet meeting, this was told by highly placed sources.
If the Cabinet decides today about 13 lakh railway employees will get about Productivity Linked Bonus this month.
Productivity-linked bonus is paid to railway employees each year before the Dussehra festival.
It is also mentioned that since the election code of conduct is in force, the government has to have special permission from the Election Commission to raise the amount.”
