The General Secretaries,
All Affiliated Unions,
Dear Comrades!,
Sub: Brief of the first meeting of the DAC
The first meeting of the Departmental Anomalies Committee was held today in Rail Bhawan, wherein thE undersigned, along with Com. J.R. Bhosale, Treasurer AIRF, was present on behalf of AIRF.
In the said meeting; issues related to Paramedical Staff, Running Staff, Technicians, JES and SSEs were discussed. Particularly, in the case of Nursing Staff, Dietician and other Paramedical Staff, the issue has been discussed and hope will be considered with a positive view.
AIRF also raised the issues of C&M Staff and Accounts Staff, where recommendations of the Vll CPC have not yet been implemented and unnecessarily referred to the DoP&T. It is unfortunate that, Railway Board has written to the DoP&T for rejection of higher grade to CMM and Accounts Cadre, which AIRF has strongly opposed.
AIRF also raised the issue of GDCE in the same grade. It has been agreed that GDCE in the same grade will be done in case of safety categories.
AIRF also shown its anguish and reminded the AM(Staff) and the committee, that “Very Good” benchmark in case of MACP is a greatest anomaly, therefore, it should not be more than the benchmark in case of promotion. It was agreed that, this issue will also be considered favourably.
